By creating an account, accessing, or using any part of our services, you acknowledge that:

  • You are at least 18 years of age or have parental/guardian consent to use our services.
  • You have the legal capacity to enter into this binding agreement.
  • You will use the services only for lawful purposes in accordance with all applicable laws.

PhoneTheWorld provides Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) calling services that enable users to make voice calls to landline and mobile numbers worldwide. Our services include:

3. Prohibited Uses

Strict Prohibition Notice

Violation of any prohibited use will result in immediate account termination and forfeiture of all remaining credits. We reserve the right to report illegal activities to appropriate law enforcement authorities.

You expressly agree NOT to use our services for:

Illegal Activities

Any activity that violates local, national, or international laws including fraud, harassment, or threats.

Scam or Fraudulent Operations

Phishing, impersonation, deceptive practices, or any form of fraudulent schemes.

Mass Calling / Robocalls

Automated dialing systems, telemarketing operations, or unsolicited bulk calling.

Caller ID Spoofing

Deliberately displaying false or misleading caller identification information with intent to defraud.

Service Abuse

Actions designed to circumvent billing, exploit technical vulnerabilities, or disrupt service for others.

4. Billing, Credits, and Payments

4.1 Credit System

Our services operate on a prepaid credit system. You must purchase credits before making calls. Credits are deducted based on the destination, call duration, and applicable rates published on our website.

4.2 Rate Changes

We reserve the right to modify calling rates at any time. Rate changes will be published on our website and take effect immediately for new calls. Existing credits will be consumed at the rates in effect at the time of each call.

4.3 Credit Expiration

Credits do not expire as long as your account remains active. Accounts inactive for 12 consecutive months may be considered dormant, and remaining credits may be forfeited after notice.

4.4 Payment Processing

All payments are processed securely through our third-party payment processor (Polar). By making a purchase, you agree to their applicable terms of service.

5. Refund Policy

5.1 Eligibility

Refund requests must be submitted within 14 days of the original purchase date. To request a refund, contact our support team with your order details.

5.3 Exclusions

6. Emergency Services Limitation

IMPORTANT: NOT FOR EMERGENCY USE

PhoneTheWorld is NOT a replacement for traditional telephone service and SHOULD NOT be relied upon for emergency calls. Our VoIP service does not support calls to emergency services such as 999 (UK), 911 (US), 112 (EU), or similar emergency numbers. We cannot guarantee connection to emergency services or transmission of your location to emergency responders.

Always maintain access to a traditional landline or mobile phone for emergency situations.

7. Service Availability and Quality

While we strive to provide reliable, high-quality voice services, you acknowledge that:

  • Call quality depends on your internet connection speed, stability, and network conditions.
  • Service may be interrupted for maintenance, upgrades, or circumstances beyond our control.
  • Connectivity to certain destinations may be restricted by third-party carriers or regulations.
  • We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, GASDIGITAL LTD AND ITS DIRECTORS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:

  • (a)Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
  • (b)Lost profits, revenue, data, or business opportunities
  • (c)Service interruptions, call quality issues, or failed connections
  • (d)Unauthorized access to your account resulting from your failure to maintain security

Our total aggregate liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you for credits in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. Before initiating formal proceedings, we encourage you to contact us to attempt informal resolution.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be posted on our website with an updated "Last Modified" date. For significant changes affecting your rights, we will provide notice via email to registered users at least 30 days before changes take effect.

Your continued use of our services after modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree to the modified Terms, you must discontinue use of our services.
